Thomas Consulting help to Resolve Personal Injury Case
Thomas Consultings partners and senior engineers have many years experience providing expert witness and dispute resolution services. We have provided reports and evidence in numerous matters ranging from collapses of commercial premises through to disputes involving the construction of domestic conservatories. We have worked with some of the UKs largest firms of solicitors and are currently assisting with a number of construction disputes.
Recently we were asked to assist in a personal injury case involving several construction workers seriously injured in a serious construction site accident, involving a structural failure. The case involved multiple co-defendants each of whom blamed the other for the accident. The partner who was appointed by one of the defendants was required to examine all of the evidence and write an impartial report identifying what went wrong, when, where and who had what responsibilities in the chain of construction. Our report enabled the co-defendants to mediate and reach an early agreed settlement as regards liability; thus avoiding potential lengthy litigation and meaning the injured parties were compensated without unnecessary delay. We are committed to providing impartial advice and preparing comprehensive reports that help parties understand the technical issues and resolve their disputes expeditiously. If you have a potential construction dispute or are already involved in one, our partners are available to talk with you and advise whether or not we can assist. If we cannot we may be able to help you find somebody who can.
