Chartered or Experienced Graduate Engineer

Experience in the design and detailing of building structures is essential and use of AutoCad would be preferable.

We currently have positions available within our Contaminated Land section.

A Principal Contaminated Land Scientist/Engineer

Duties to include:-

a) Planning site investigations, preparing Phase 1, 2 and 3 contaminated land reports and design and management of remediation measures.

b) To assist the Partners, Associates and other engineers in providing satisfactory remediation and engineering solutions; including details for isolation barriers etc. in relation to contamination issues and remedial work specifications including the use of current and appropriate assessment software.

c) To lead the development of Practice Guidance Notes in relation to contaminated land and other environmental issues and the control of hazardous waste in relation to construction and development issues; including the dissemination of pertinent information to engineers and technicians involved in engineering design processes.

d) To direct and work with technicians and less senior contamination scientists who may be assigned to projects that you may be working upon.

e) When required to work in the field/ on-site gathering necessary information and/or undertaking periodic site inspections.

f) To assist the Partners and Principal Engineers in marketing and developing the firm.

This is a senior position suitable to a motivated individual capable of building and developing a dedicated team. The candidate we are seeking will be either Chartered or near Chartered and a member of CIWEM or IEMA. We offer an excellent working environment and salary, located within 2 minutes of the M6, M61 and M65 motorways. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of engineers undertaking a wide range of development work. The experience that we can offer will allow you to participate in the whole engineering process of taking a Brownfield site from dereliction through to modern re-usage. This position is suitable for a motivated individual wishing to work within busy office working on a wide range of development work throughout the UK.

AutoCAD technicians

We are seeking experienced AutoCAD technicians having a good background in either building structures or architectural detailing to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects. Applicants must professional, assertive and be able to work with initiative drive and efficiency and to meet deadlines.

You must be able to use AutoCAD proficiently, experience of WoodEngine would be an advantage. You must be qualified to at least HND level and preferably have 3 or more years detailing experience. Positions are available at our Preston office, located close to the M6, M65 and M61 motorway junctions. We can offer an attractive salary and pleasant working conditions in our modern offices.

Structural Engineers

Our Preston office is located close to the M6, M65 and M61 motorway junctions whilst our Telford office is a few minutes off the M54 motorway. We can offer an attractive salary and pleasant working conditions in our modern offices.
