Winckley Square

Winckley Square is an excellent example of how modern living space can be created in older city centre buildings.

Winckley Square was originally a fashionable 19th. century residential square noted for its central garden area that formed a private garden area for the Victorian residents. During the 20th. century the large fashionable residences were converted to office use. Now at the beginning of the 21st. century the offices are being converted back to city centre residences.

19 Winckley Square is one of two developments in the Square where Thomas Consulting have provided structural engineering services. The Square is a Conservation Area and the buildings have many listed features that must be retained. Thomas Consulting provided Structural Engineering and Party Wall Surveyor services.
