Residential Apartments, St. Helens

Thomas Consulting are providing a complete engineering service for the re-development of a site in the centre of St.Helens.

Our engineers provided pre-purchase investigations into the site and have worked closely with our client to provide engineering soltions for the development.

Construction of foundations over the original reinforced concrete basement with highways on two boundaries presented a number of unique challanges for our structural engineers.

The six storey apartments are to be constructed over ground level covered residents car park area. Our structural engineers have designed the piled foundations, stell transfer structure over the car park as well as the structural timber frame.
