Thomas Consulting provided a complete professional engineering services on this popular development; including site investigation, desk study and contaminated land investigation to satisfy for planning conditions before construction could commence.

We provided engineering design for the piled and reinforced concrete foundations as well as the structural timber frame for this six storey block of apartments. At six storeys high the timber frame had to be designed to satisfy the latest Building Regulations for accidental damage and disproportionate collapse.

We also dealt with the neighbour issues as required by the Party Wall etc. Act, including serving appropriate notices and party wall awards.
