Mill Race development Lancaster

The Mill Race is a mixed use development of Apartments, flats, student accommodation and retail space located in the historic City of Lancaster.

Captured in the winter sunshine and framed by Lancaster's Millennium bridge pylons is the Mill Race Development during construction in 2003.

Sited in the busy city centre on a congested site with an ancient major storm water overflow structure the development presented a number of design challenges for the structural engineering team.
