Kindergarten

This new kindergarten in Torrisholme, Lancaster was attached to the Listed Torrisholme New Hall building and needed a sympathetic approach.

The Architect was JMP Lancaster, and the contractor was Kitchin Building. The modern style with full length clerestory windows at roof level required a sensitive engineering solution to be adopted such that the roof appears to float above the walls.
