Bowland School, Grindleton

Lancashire County Council was the client for this new school project in the village of Grindleton.

Located in area in the scenic Ribble Valley, close to Bowland Forest this new school building required sensitive design by the Lancashire County Council architects. Thomas Consulting engineers worked closely with the architects to ensure the structure could comply with their requirements.

Located on a sloping site, in an exposed hillside position a number of interesting structural problems had to be addressed.
