I am particularly interested in construction law and the study of design and construction failures. I am responsible for developing Health and Safety policies and practice within the firm.

Kieron Hounslow

Managing Partner Chorley Office. Structural Engineer with over 20 years experience within the construction industry, with widespread experience in all types of structures. Design of highway structures and bridges, steel and concrete framed structures, foundation design, masonry and timber structures, and expert witness.

Phil Howden

Managing Partner at the Lancaster Office of Thomas Consulting LLP. Responsible for Financial, Technical and Resource management at Lancaster. Partner Responsible for Contracts within the Nuclear Industry including Call Off Contracts at Heysham 1 and 2 and Torness Power Stations.

Managing Partner Telford Office. Civil Engineering work involving design of highways, roundabouts, producing traffic analyses and transport assessments using ARCADY and PICADY, designing various types of drainage and sewer projects and infrastructure schemes to include access roads, car parks and service yards. Producing wind turbine route assessments and transportation vehicle manoeuvre simulations.
