Infrastructure Design Engineer
We are seeking an infrastructure design engineer, experienced in the design of highways and drainage works for residential and commercial developments. Candidates must be able to use PDS and Microdrainage software and have a sound working knowledge of local authority and statutory undertakers requirements and approval processes. You will be required to demonstrate that you are experienced, knowledgeable, organised, able to work with initiative and deliver accurate design within programme and budget. Enthusiasm is a pre-requisite.

Contaminated Land Engineer
We are seeking a motivated individual to work within a small established team dealing with site investigation and land assessment issues. The position is one that will appeal to a person seeking to further their career and with the enthusiasm to assist in the development and growth of this team. The candidate we are seeking will be either Chartered or near Chartered and a member of CIWEM or IEMA with 2 or 3 years relevant experience. Consideration will be given to persons who may initially be considering a part time position. We offer an excellent working environment and salary, located within 2 minutes of the M6, M61 and M65 motorways. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of engineers undertaking a wide range of development work. The experience that we can offer will allow you to participate in the whole engineering process of taking a Brownfield site from dereliction through to modern re-usage.
The successful candidate must be experienced in the following:
- Planning site investigations and undertaking trail pitting and borehole installation, taking and logging soil samples, gas monitoring and validation work.
- Preparing Phase 1, 2 and 3 contaminated land reports and design and management of remediation measures.
- Have a good knowledge of Risk assessment work and the use of analytical tools and CLEA1.04 and Conceptual models.
- Preparing remediation advice with relevant regard to current good practice and available techniques
- Providing satisfactory remediation and engineering solutions; including details for isolation barriers etc. in relation to contamination issues and remedial work specifications including the use of current and appropriate assessment software.

Structural Engineer
We are seeking a motivated individual to work within an established structural engineering team providing timber and steel frame design services. The position is one that will appeal to a person seeking to further their career and with the enthusiasm to assist in the development of our specialist engineering teams. The candidate we are seeking will likely be near or a newly Chartered Engineer with 3 or 4 years relevant experience. Consideration will be given to persons who may initially be considering a part time position. We offer an excellent working environment and salary, located within 2 minutes of the M6, M61 and M65 motorways. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of engineers undertaking a wide range of development work.
The successful candidate must be experienced in the following;
- Structural Engineering design in the main materials of timber, steel, reinforced concrete and masonry.
- Fully computer literate and the use of CAD for preparing drawings and structural analysis, the use of Masterseries software and NBS specification would be an advantage.
- Working in a busy and professional design office and operating with best practice.
- Team management and document control.
- Working clients to provide solutions that they require on budget and to programme.
